Movkit DVD Pack: An Overview

The Movkit DVD Pack includes two different programs: the DVD Copy and DVD Ripper. Each program has distinct features needed to make high quality duplicates of DVD movies. Here is a brief introduction of the features and functions of each program.

DVD Copy’s Features

Movkit’s DVD Copy allows the user to create high quality duplicates of DVD movies within a short span of time. Copies are made within 30 to 40 minutes with no reduction in quality or any distortion. Content Scrambling System or CSS protected content can also be duplicated using the program. Users will be able to copy movies from a dual layer DVD-9 to a similar disc or DVD-5 types of discs such as the DVD+R, DVD-R and RW types. The software also allows users to select which chapters to copy.

DVD Ripper’s Features

Movkit’s DVD Ripper takes content copied from the DVD and converts it to other formats. Some of the supported output formats include AVI, DivX, H.264, MPEG1/2, FLV and MOV files among others. The exported files can then be played on a variety of devices such as the iPod, iPhone, Zune Video and PSP. Customization of the size of the output file is also possible. There is also a batch conversion feature which allows the user to convert multiple videos using a single set of settings.
