It should be relatively easy to create professional looking videos which can be played on a wide variety of different equipment including blu ray and DVD players.
Step 1: Open Nero Vision
Before you can do anything else, you will need to open Nero Vision and wait for it to open properly. This can be time consuming depending on the age of your computer. A new empty project will be created automatically when you open the software. This will have the main window set up how it should be normally. There are areas in tabs which can be used to adjust the files, transitions and create special effects. There are also sections which make it possible to create titles for your video.
Step 2: Import Videos
In order to use Nero vision to edit videos, you will first need to import it. To do this, click on the Import button which has a photo of a folder with a magnifying glass. You can then choose the files that you want to add; it's possible to choose more than one file at a time if you want. You can then wait while the application adds all of the videos to your project. This might take some time to complete depending on the number of files you are adding at a time.
Step 3: Add to the Timeline
When the video is imported, you can then add it onto the timeline. To do this, click the video and drag it down to the timeline. There are two different versions of the timeline which are the basic and extended views. The basic view is a useful way of organizing clips, while the expanded view gives a lot of extra details.
Step 4: Edit
The preview button displays the video as it will look when it's produced into your finished video. You can control the video in the preview window using the Play and Stop buttons. It's also possible to click the Full screen button so that you will be able to see the entire video easily. There is a snapshot button which can be used to take a screen shot of the video at the current time. There is also a record audio button which can be used to record voiceovers. This makes it easy to create interesting documentaries and other types of films.
Step 5: Cut Video
You can also use Nero Vision to cut the video. To do this, click on the scissors button to enter the correct mode. You will then be able to use this to trim the footage down. This is useful if you want to reduce the videos size and remove certain elements. It's also possible to trim clips by putting the timeline in the expanded mode. Then, it's simply a matter of clicking and dragging the front or end of the clip to reduce the size.
Step 6: Add Effects
Vision allows you to add lots of different effects to the video. To apply these, click on the Video Effects tab. You can add various color filters, motion blur, fire effects and grayscale among many others. Look through the preview window to see how the finished effects will look.
