Combining 3D Arsenal and VT
3D Arsenal software is a powerful video editor with a user-friendly interface and easy-to-use features. You can use it to add fabulous 3D animation effects and create virtual backgrounds for your video footage. Both professionals and beginners get excellent results with the help of this program.
Step 1: Software Compatibility
3D Arsenal is stand-alone software compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. Also, for a better performance, you can combine 3D Arsenal with other software such as SpeedEDIT, LightWave 3D, 3Play and VT. These programs help you in achieving professional effects onto your video footage.
Step 2: VT Projects and Productions
3D Arsenal allows you to create text effects, video effects and special 3D composites, also offering you the possibility to work on every detail of your VT projects and productions. You can edit and add different types of effects on every part of your project. This is possible by using all VT vision windows such as Preview, Program Out, DDR and DSK. The main window is divided into 3 small screens at a resolution of 4:3 or 16:9. You can make them larger or leave them as they are.
The DDR window contains options such as Add, Cut, Copy or Paste Media. Also, in the lower right, you have the “playlist” editor with different features such as Mute, Play, Pause and Stop. It also shows you details about your video such as time remaining and your local time. These help you manage your video footage while adding standard or special effects. Make use of the Downstream Key to add Fade and Speed effects and see how they take place on your footage.
Step 3: VT System Integration
3D Arsenal comes with a VT Integration System. You can go to your VT menu and choose between the Control Room and Graphics. The Control Room contains options such as Background Gen, Batch Capture, Capture, Deck Control, VGA, Cross Keyer and many more. These allow you to apply standard editing to your footage. Graphics, on the other hand, contain the 3D animation system integration tools. You can use it to integrate 3D Arsenal and VT with Modeler 3D, LightWave 3D, Color Picker, CG Designer or Aura VT and Paint software.
Step 4: Sources with and without Alpha
You can use sources according to your alpha channel in 3D Arsenal and VT projects. Not all sources can be applied to Alpha Channels, and that is the main reason why you have 2 options. You can use sources with alpha such as Digital Disk Recorder DDR, Cam1 and Background Generator. Or, you can go for sources without alpha such as Video Noise Generator, Audio Scope, Black Background or iVGA. Either way, it is important to know that you can combine these sources in any 3D compatible program.
3D Arsenal is a great easy way to customize your videos and add special 3D animation effects.
