Holiday Photos: Fill your Frame
When you are taking your holiday photos, it can be fairly difficult to take interesting and high quality photographs. There are, however, a number of things that you can do to make these photos look much more special and memorable. One of the easiest things to do is to ensure that you are filling your frame with the subject you're taking a photo of.
Filling the Frame
When taking a photo, it can sometimes be tempting to take a wide zoomed out photo and then crop it later. This does seem like a good idea and can work well in some circumstances. However, the more you crop an image, the poorer the quality of whatever you are retaining will be. If you frame your photo properly, then you will zoom in closer to the subject.
By framing the subject so that it is much larger in your photo, you will stand a much better chance of taking photos which you will want to print out and keep forever.
Framing the Picture
When framing the picture, you don't have to keep the subject in the dead center of the frame. It can actually make your photos look much more interesting if you position the subject off center.
In order to take good photographs, you shouldn't be afraid to experiment. Try new things and then take a look at what they look like. The beauty of digital photography is that you will never waste any film no matter how many photos you decide to take.
