Pinnacle Studio: Understanding the Playback Controls
There are two sets of playback controls in Pinnacle Studio. The playback controls are located in the Player. There are standard playback controls and DVD playback controls. This guideline will go over all of the standard and DVD playback controls.
The transport controls are the same controls in both standard and DVD mode. The transport controls consist of Play, Pause, Go to beginning, Fast reverse, and Fast forward. The Play button allows you to preview your movie using the Player. Once the movie is playing in the Player, the Play button turns into the Pause button. You can also use the Space key on your keyboard to play and pause the movie that is being previewed in the Player.
The Go to beginning button will stop playback when pressed. Once playback has been stopped, the Go to beginning button will take your movie back to its first frame. The Fast reverse and Fast forward buttons can be used to preview your movie backwards or forwards. Both buttons allow you to preview your movie at two, four or ten times the normal playback speed.
The loop button is only available in standard playback mode. If you press the Loop button in the Player, the movie that you are previewing will continue to play back repeatedly. To stop your movie from looping, you can press any of the playback controls that are located in the Player.
The jog buttons are only available in standard playback mode. The two jog buttons are backward and forward. When you press either button, your movie will move backward or forward by one frame at a time.
DVD Playback Controls
The DVD playback controls are grouped together below the Player preview screen. In the center of the DVD playback controls are the Button selection arrows. When you are viewing a disc menu, you can use the left, right, up, and down arrows to navigate the menu. In the middle of the Button selection arrows is an oval button. The oval button will select whichever disc menu button is selected when pressed.
The Main menu button is located at the top left of the Button selection arrows. When you press the Main menu button, the movie you are previewing will jump to its first menu. The Previous menu button is located on the right side of the Main menu button. The Previous menu button will jump to the last menu that you were viewing. When you press the Previous menu button, the Player will automatically begin to play whatever content is associated with that menu.
Located towards the bottom of the Button selection arrows are the Previous chapter and Next chapter buttons. If you are viewing a movie and you press the Previous chapter button, the Player will take you back to the beginning of that chapter. If you press the Previous chapter button again, you will be taken to the previous chapter. By pressing the Next chapter button, the Player will take you to the next chapter in your movie.Popular P&S Cameras for High Quality Photos:
