Pinnacle Studio: How To Use the Video Scenes Section
In Pinnacle Studio, the Video Scenes section is located in the Album. The footage that you captured during the capture process is automatically sent to the Video Scenes section. The scenes that are displayed in the Video Scenes section will be in the order that they were captured. You are not able to change the order in which the scenes appear in the Video Scenes section. You are also unable to trim or edit scenes that appear in the Video Scenes section. However, once you add the scene to the Movie Window, you are able to edit the clip that is generated by Pinnacle Studio. This guideline will go over how to use the interface features of the Video Scenes section.
Adding Scenes to the Movie Window
To add a scene to the Movie Window, all you have to do is drag the scene from the Video Scenes section and drop it in the Movie Window. When a scene has been added to the Movie Window, a green check mark will appear on the scene in the Video Scenes section. The green check mark will remain on the scene for as long as you have the scene clip in the Movie Window.
Seeing How Scenes are Used in the Movie Window
From the Video Scenes section of the Album, you are able to see how a scene is being used in your current project. To do this, click on Album and then Find Scene in Project. Pinnacle Studio will automatically highlight clips from the Movie Window that contain footage from the selected scene in the Video Scenes section.
Seeing How Scenes are Used in the Video Scenes Section
You can also select a clip from the Movie Window and locate what scene that footage came from in the Video Scenes section. To do this, right click on the clip in the Movie Window and select Find Scene in Album. Pinnacle Studio will automatically highlight any scenes in the Video Scenes section that contain footage from the selected clip.
Pinnacle Studio gives you multiple ways to select menu commands. Generally speaking, any menu commands that apply to scenes in the Video Scenes section are available from both the main Album menu and the right click pop up menu. For example, if you need to select the combine scenes command, you can either go to the Album menu or right click on a scene from the Video Scenes section.
