Pinnacle Studio: How To Use the Title Type Buttons

Pinnacle Studio is one of the best video editing software programs on the market because it allows users to edit videos with complex graphics and dynamic titles. Part of its success comes from its easy-to-use interface. A great example of this is the 'Title Type Buttons' that make creating titles for your project quick and painless. There are four title type buttons to choose from and only one at a time can be used per a title.

Still Titles

The first button, which looks like an empty grey space, is used for creating still titles. These titles appear in the video and do not move. An example of this are the standard opening credits of most feature films.

Rolling Titles

The Second Button is represented by an arrow pointing down. This button is used to create titles that roll down the screen. An example of these are the standard end credits of most feature films.

Crawling Titles

The third button is represented by an arrow pointing to the right. This button creates titles that crawl across the screen like the new bulletins at the bottom of CNN broadcasts.

DVD Menus

The last button looks like bullet points with lines next to them. This button is used for creating titles on a DVD. The bullet points represent buttons and the lines represent text.
