Lenscare 101

Lenscare is an easy to use program that allows you to create high quality camera blurs. To save you time, Lenscare uses 2D post processing instead of 3D rendering. Lenscare is compatible with Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems. This guideline will go over a few of the best features of Lenscare so that you can get a feel for what the program is able to do.

1. Lens Aperture Replacement

Are you not happy with the Bokeh, or lens blur, that is featured in your photo? The aperture of your camera lens is what dictates how much blur you have in your photo. Lenscare comes with an Out of Focus plug-in that can replace the aperture of your photo so that you can produce a higher quality Boken than what you already have.

2. Image Brightness

You may have noticed in the past that your camera will remove really bright objects from the photo you are taking. Your camera does this because those objects appear off focus when you are taking the picture. Having the correct image brightness is one aspect of creating the perfect Bokeh. Lenscare allows you to select objects in your photo that should be brighter and the program will increase the brightness of only those objects.

3. Depth of Field

One of the best features of Lenscare is its ability to increase the depth of field of your image. Other image editing or enhancement programs that offer depth of field increases run very slow because of rendering times. Lenscare comes with a depth of field plug-in that will generate the fastest post process and rendering times possible, which saves you loads of time.
