How To Blend Images in Photoshop

If you would like to learn how to blend images in Photoshop, you may find that you are not alone. More and more people are becoming photo savvy and learning how to blend images. It is also a popular technique used on movie posters.

Choose Your Images

Surprisingly, finding the two images to mix together may be the hardest task. If you have never blended images before, you will want to choose an image that leaves space at the top or bottom in order to blend with the other photo.

Drag and Drop

Before you can blend your photos, you will need to put them all onto the same document. Click the "Move" button in the tray and select the photo that you want to move to the other. The photos will now be combined with one on top of the other.

Re-size or Re-position and Add a Layer

You will need the photos to be in proportion so that they do not look odd. After you are finished, add a layer mask in order to begin blending them together. Move the gradient to your desired level. The photos will now be blended and you can tweak the photo as you please.
