Creating a Calendar in Corel PhotoImpact
It is very easy to create your own custom calendar in Corel PhotoImpact. You can use different photos, icons and markers for all 12 months in Corel PhotoImpact. Corel PhotoImpact allows you to save your calendar so that you can email it to your family and friends or you can print your calendar and begin using it immediately.
1. Opening the Image Pool
You will need to open the Image Pool in Corel PhotoImpact to create a calendar. You can do this by clicking on File, then Share, then Calendar when a photo is open. You can add additional images to the Image Pool by clicking on the little plus sign that is located at the top of the Image Pool. When you click on the plus sign, the Open File box should appear. Select the photos that you would like to use in your calendar and click "Open."
2. Selecting Templates and Entering a Start Date
Now that you have selected the photos that you want to add to your calendar, you need to select a calendar template. To select a calendar template, click on the Template tab and select a template from the drop-down menu. Once you have selected a template, you will need to set the Start Date for your calendar. You will notice the year and month Start Date options under the Customize tab. If you want to create a 12 month calendar, type 12 into the Number box that is located to the right of the Start Date options.
3. Customizing Your Calendar
By clicking on the Customize tab, you can customize every month that you have created in your calendar. To change the image on the calendar, simply drag a new image from the Image Pool and drop it on top of the existing image. You can edit your calendar text by clicking on the text itself. To add icons or markers to your calendar, all you have to do is right click on your workspace. Once you have customized your calendar, go to Share and click "Save All."
