How to Use a Pictbridge Photo Printer
A PictBridge photo printer is a printer that is loaded with a standardized software. PictBridge allows you to print directly from your digital camera without having to connect to a printer. In order to access PictBridge, both your camera and your printer need to be PictBridge enabled. This not only eliminates the hassle of the computer, it can greatly speed up the photo printing process.
Tools and Materials Needed
- Digital camera
- PictBridge printer
- USB cord
- Photo paper
Step 1: Plug in the USB Cord
As long as you have a PictBridge camera and a PictBridge printer, you can simply connect the two devices with a USB cord
Step 2: Select the Photo for Printing
Once the two devices are connected, the screen on your digital camera should indicate that the devices are connected. Scroll through the pictures on the camera until you have located the photo you would like to print.
Step 3: Follow the Prompts
Follow the prompts on the camera to print the photo. Generally, you will select "Print Photo." A dialog box will pop up and you will select "Print."
Step 4: Remove the Photo from the Printer
Once you have selected "Print," the photo should immediately begin printing. Once it is done, you can grab it and go.
