Attaching a Camera Lens Bag to Your Case

When choosing a camera lens bag there are a number of different things that you will need to consider. It's important to make sure that the camera bag protects your camera well enough to look after your investment. If you have a Digital SLR camera then you will need to have enough space to store your spare lenses.

Step 1 - Buying a Lens Bag

Buy a lens bag which can be fixed onto your camera bag. Check that it supports this and that it is not a separate case. Choosing a separate case is fine as long as you are sure you will be able to handle everything at the same time. Also, check that the camera lens bag is the right size to accommodate your lens. Every lens is different and will require a different sized bag.

Step 2 - Attaching Camera Lens Bags

The camera lens bag should have straps which connect to the shoulder strap or other strap on your camera case. Read the instructions if you're not sure how this works.

Step 3 - Checking the Lens Bag

When the lens bag is attached to the camera case it is important to make sure that it's securely attached. Lenses are very expensive and delicate pieces of equipment, they don't take kindly to being manhandled. Test the camera bag to check that it is secure and won't move anywhere.
