How to Upload iPhone Photos to Facebook

There are two ways to upload iPhone photos to Facebook. If you are on the go and want to load a picture or two from your iPhone, you can do this using the Facebook App. If you have a series of photos you wish to upload, it will be quicker to hook your iPhone up to a computer and load them over Facebook online.

1. Loading a Photo from Your iPhone

The first method will require downloading the Facebook App to your iPhone. This is a great method of adding a picture if you are waiting in a line or on the subway and have some time to kill. The app will allow you to take a picture from the app or load picutres.

Go into either News Feed or Profile on the main menu. A camera icon appears in the top left of either page. Tap on the icon to get a choice to either take a picture to add to Facebook or to select a photograph from your iPhone library. If you would like to take a new picture, choose Take Photo.

The iPhone will open the camera feature. After taking your picture, the screen will show you the picture and allow you to Retake or Use the photo. If you choose to Use the photo, the next screen will prompt you to Write a Caption or to Upload the picture. Choose From Library

For those who already have a picture stored on their iPhone, tap Choose From Library. The screen will take you to all of the photos you have stored on your phone for you to scroll through and select the photo you want added to Facebook. You will have the same options to add a new caption or upload the photo.

Adding a photo from your iPhone will add the picture to your wall.

2. Loading Multiple Photos from a Computer

Adding pictures from your phone is nice when you do not have access to a computer, but it can be time consuming if you want to add multiple pictures. The easiest way to load several pictures or create a photo album from your phone is to hook your iPhone up to your computer, or a computer with access to iTunes. You will need to move you photos from your phone to a place on the network prior to loading.

After logging onto Facebook, select the Photos tab. Choose to Upload Pictures and add a name to your new album. The next screen will provide you with a method to upload the file. The default is the last place chosen for loading photos, probably somewhere on your computer. Move through the folders until you reach the place where you stored your pictures. Then you can select all of the photos you would like to add and review them to see how they look on a computer screen. From here you can make modifications, delete photos, and add comments.
