How to Create a Photobucket Slideshow
In
many cases, you've probably stumbled upon sites or links where they
feature a Photobucket slideshow. This free photo-sharing online site is
highly popular and very easy to manage. Best of all, there's a free
membership! Free members will not only get to keep a whole load of
images and albums in their account, they can also create and share
slideshows. Provided you already have a Photobucket account, here's a
step by step guide on how to create your own slideshow.
Step 1 - Select Your Album
From
your Photosbucket Home page, go to an album that you want to create
your slideshow in. Don't worry that all the photos you want to include
are not in the same album, you can always pictures from other albums
later on.
Step 2 - Click on Slideshow
Once
you've selected an album, click on the Slideshows tab. Immediately, you
will be taken to a page that allows you to choose the pictures you want
to include. If this page does not turn up, make sure you have the
latest Java installed and activated.
Step 3 - Choose you Pictures
On
the left box, you will be able to select the pictures you want in your
slideshow. Simply click on the green plus icon in the image, and you'll
instantly see a preview of the slideshow. If you want to get from other
albums, just click on the dropdown menu and select the album. Again,
just click on the plus sign to add pictures to your slideshow timeline.
Step 4 - Edit and Rearrange Pictures
At
the bottom of the screen, you will see all the pictures you selected in
one clear timeline. If you want to remove a picture from the slideshow,
just click on the red minus icon. You can simply drag and drop the
images around to rearrange them.
Step 5 - Add a Title
You
can add titles and captions to each and every picture. You can find
this above the timeline thumbnails. Just click on the space and type in
your preferred title. There's also a "clear all titles" option if you
want to delete all titles and captions.
Step 6 - Choose a Style
At
the right column, you'll find over a hundred different slideshow styles
to choose from. You can opt for simple animation, a more dramatic
movement, or a thematic style. There are animated hearts, flowers,
cartoon characters, and more.
Step 7 - Choose your Size
Below
the style options, there are 3 slideshow sizes to choose from. There's
small, which is perfect for sharing in email or at the side column of
your website. Medium is perfect for including in a blog post or
homepage. And large is perfect for fullscreen viewing.
Step 8 - Save Slideshow
Below
the preview screen, you will find a big blue button that says "save
slideshow". Click on this and you will get a pop-up which prompts you
to name your slideshow file. Type in the label, and you're done! Now
you have a full-blown photo slideshow that you can share with everyone!
