Adding Movie Credits in Showbiz DVD

Showbiz DVD can be used to design and author professional DVDs, including movie credits. These credits might not seem like the most important part of the film, however, it makes it much easier for people to find out about who made the movie and who stared in it. Although movie credits are a simple idea, creating them in many applications is challenging. Showbiz makes this quite easy.

Creating rolling movie credits with showbiz DVD is very simple and this shouldn't take long to complete. With your movie credits added, you will be able to start making a name for yourself.

Step 1: Creating Your Movie

As the credits will appear at the end of the movie, you first need to design and create your film. This will involve filming and then transferring your film to the computer. If any editing is required, then this is the stage where you will do this. Basically, you need to create a fully finished movie before you will be able to look at the movie credits. The credits will be the last thing that you do with your movie.

Step 2: Designing Your Credits

Then, you need to make a list of the credits that you want to appear at the end of the movie. These credits should include everybody in the film, including the author and editor of your movie. You will need to give this some thought, as it can be difficult to change later on.

Step 3: Choosing the Background

Now, you need to choose the background to use behind your rolling credits. To do this, create a new key frame in the storyboard. Then, you can select the background color or image that you want to use. Although credits normally roll over a black screen, that's not the only thing you can use. You might like to freeze a frame of your video and then have the credits appear over the top of that. You could also roll the credits over a photograph.

When choosing the background you should check that the text will be easy to read.

Step 4: Choosing Text Colors

When you know the background colors, you will then need to choose the text colors that you want to use. Make sure that you will be able to read the text clearly. The most common color combination is white text on a black background, but anything can be used. Just ensure that your viewers will always be able to clearly read the names on the screen.

Step 5: Writing the Text

Select the Text from the toolbox, and then click somewhere on the canvas. You can easily type the positions and the people that appeared in your video.

Step 6: Animating the Text

Now it's a case of clicking on the text in the credits and then animating it. Use the animation tools to scroll the credits so that they disappear off the screen and load the new credits from the bottom.

Credits are a useful way of trying to build a reputation for yourself. Creating these with Showbiz are very simple and enjoyable.
