Using an Alpa to Nikon F Lens Adapter
Alpa was once a Swiss manufacturer of high end professional SLR camera bodies and lenses. These cameras have been out of production for quite some time, which can make it challenging to find the lenses in good condition. A high quality lens for these cameras can also be very expensive, because they are in such short supply.
If you are finding it difficult to get the right lenses, then it would be much simpler to use lens adaptors. A lens adaptor can be used to mount almost any lens, including a Nikon F lens, onto the Alpa SLR camera. Using these is normally self explanatory, although you might need some simple instructions to avoid causing any damage.
How to Connect the Lens to the Adaptor
The first thing that you need to do is connect the lens onto the adaptor by screwing it into the thread, which is on the front of the adaptor. Be careful not to over tighten this, as it could cause damage. You should, however, tighten the lens until it locks in position.
Connecting the Adaptor Lens
The lens adaptor can then be connected to the camera body in exactly the same way as a normal lens designed for the Alpa camera. This is a very easy and quick way of connecting Nikon F mount lenses onto your Alpa camera.
