Using a Konica to Exakta Inner Bayonet Adapter

If you have a Konica camera body then you might want to use many different types of lenses on it. There are a few different types of adapters that are suitable for use on Konica cameras. There are adapters which suit Exakta Inner Bayonet lenses. This makes it much easier to find lenses which suit any Konica camera.

All of these lenses are manual focus which give you a lot of control over the picture that you are taking. Many of these offer features which are now missing in modern day cameras and lenses. Using these adapters is fairly easy but you do need to care for them properly.

Step 1: Attaching the Lens
The bayonet mount lens should be attached to the adapter first. This will convert the lens ring to suit your camera so that it can be installed easily on your Konica body.

Step 2: Mounting the Lens
With the adapter installed the adapter can then be screwed into the camera using the standard Konica Mount.

Step 3: Removing the Lens
When you want to remove the lens simply twist it anticlockwise. The adapter and lens will both come off together.

Step 4: Caring for the Lens and Adapter
Lenses and adapters need to be cared for properly. Put the dust covers on both ends of the lens and avoid putting the adapter anywhere that it can get scratched.
