Micro Four Thirds Adapters: Leica R Lenses
Micro four thirds cameras are small compact cameras with a nice modern stylish design. What sets them apart from the competition is the fact that you can change the lenses. There are several examples of micro four thirds cameras; one of the most popular examples is Olympus PEN E-PL1. This is a small camera which can be used with all standard micro four thirds lenses.
The only real problem with micro four thirds cameras is that the lenses are more expensive than many other models. It's also difficult to find larger lenses because of the size of the camera.
Using a Lens Adapter
By using a lens adapter, it is possible to use a number of different types of lenses onto the micro four thirds camera. This includes Leica R Lenses. Using these lens adapters is very easy, it simply needs to be screwed into the lens while being careful not to cross the thread.
If you have any Leica R mount lenses lying around, then it is possible to save money by using them again on your camera. It also makes it possible to continue to use your favorite lens every time you get yourself a new camera.
The only problem comes if you try to use a very large lens on the camera, because it could potentially cause damage. To reduce this risk, give the lens some support by holding it.
