Digital Cameras: Setting World Time Clock

If you have recently purchased a digital camera and you would like to set it up efficiently, you may want to set it to display the time using the world time clock feature. This feature is great if you travel frequently, as it will display times in different cities. Setting your digital camera to display world time is relatively simple. By following the guide below, you will be well on your way.

Locating Time Functions

First, you will want to turn your camera on and hit the menu button to take you into the camera's feature set. Once you are inside the camera's features menu, the time setting function will often to found in the "Tools and Settings" menu or somewhere similar. If you are unable to locate the time setting feature on your digital camera, consult your owner's manual.

Setting Time

Once you have located the time setting feature in your camera, you will be asked to input your current local time, date and--most importantly--time zone.  It is the time zone feature that will allow your camera to determine what time it is in different areas of the world. Then, many cameras will allow you to select a "world time" feature that will show you what time it is in other parts of the world, and it will allow you to search through these different time zones easily.
