Digital Cameras: How to Change the Picture Size
Changing the picture size on a digital camera can effect a digital camera in that it takes up more space but makes the quality greater. Depending on the type of camera that you are using, the settings may be different, but if you follow the tips below, you should be able to change your image size without any issues.
Go to the main settings of your digital camera. It is from there that you can change the settings such as image resolution and quality, timestamp, etc. After you have gone to your main settings, you will be able to choose image size. Keep in mind that the larger the image size, the greater the memory that will be taken up on the memory card. You will not get the amount of shots available if you were to use a smaller image. There will be several image sizes available for use on your camera. Select the one that is most appropriate for you.
Change the picture size and take several shots of the same thing for each size. See which image works for you. Compare the image size to the quality of the photo. Not only is the quality effected, but the image may be distorted if the size is too large.
