Ixla SuperPro 640

Here's the SuperPro 640 digital camera and all the goodies that come with it. Both a USB cable and a RS-232 serial cable, wrist strap and even your first set of batteries are included.

The SuperPro 640 digital camera is included with both Ixla's PhotoEasy and WebEasy software packages.

Ixla SuperPro 640

The SuperPro 640 is a VGA resolution (640x480) digital camera that uses a CMOS image sensor. There is 2MB of fixed memory that allows you to store up to a maximum of 30 photos. It has a 6mm fixed-focus F4 lens with a range of three feet to infinity. Unlike some of the other inexpensive cameras, it does include a flash which greatly improves indoor photos.

The back of the camera is rather bare as it has no color LCD for image review. It does have a small monochrome data display that shows the number of pictures taken, the mode of the flash unit and can display error messages. There's a power LED and a flash indicator LED and a large, bright optical viewfinder.

All of the user controls are on the top of the camera and include the power button, flash mode button, selftimer button and of course, the shutter button.

The SuperPro's I/O ports are located on the side, the top one is the RS-232 serial port and on the bottom is the high-speed USB port.

Access to the four AA batteries is on the bottom and conspicuously absent is a tripod socket but hey, what do you want for free ?
