Sample Pictures
Turns out that when shooting in Auto mode the camera varies ISO 50-100 sowe re-shot the outdoor pics today with camera locked on ISO 50 with all
other settings at default (sharp/saturation/contrast all on Normal) and
have also added a couple of TIFFs directly converted from RAW with no mods.
Click on the "Download 800x600" for a PhotoShop resampled ~200KB or less picture.

Time Exposure TestsLarge/Superfine mode, ISO 50, manual focus @ infinity Manual white balance was evaluated under sodium-vapor parking lot lighting! The 8 sec exposures are the cleanest I have ever seen and the white balance is incredible. The noise reduction works wonderfully at ISO 50, above that it does get noisey |
