The Printer Driver![]() The Windows print driver has been updated and made more functional for the novice user. The average user needs only to leave it on Automatic, pick the appropriate media type, size and orientation and the rest is done for you. The ink cartridge level indicators are now on the first page for quick reference.
![]() Here's the predefined media types. What you choose here will automatically set the most optimum printing resolution (360, 720 or 1440 dpi).
![]() When you select PhotoEnhance you will find these options:
You can make further adjustments by clicking the Advanced button where you have complete control over the Color Management, Tone and Effect. The Tone options are: ![]()

And there's also a check box for Digital Camera Correction which optimizes the image
and applies some edge enhancement.

![]() From here you can "diddle" just about everything to your heart's content and with a little patience and some practice, make the most awesome prints you've ever seen! There's even a Gamma adjustment to adjust the Print Preview when in the Automatic mode. Most PC users operate with the Adobe RGB or BruceRGB color spaces which have a gamma value of 2.2 |
