This isn't your daddy's floppy disk-based Mavica !
This is what you see when you put a fresh
CD-R disc in the CD1000, these are the screens displayed during initialization.
A typical record mode screen showing all the usual data overlay information plus we are manually focusing the lens.
The menu bar is onscreen along the bottom, all the options during record mode can
be seen in the next animated screen. Other than the CD-R disc formatting commands
and the TIFF recording mode they are the same as the screens for FD95 that can be
found on this page
This is an animated view of all of the CD1000's menu options.
This is a typical record screen during any of the movie modes. See the next
two screens for the size and time options available.
The CD1000 records MPEG movie clips in one of three sizes: 320x240 High Quality,
320x240 or 160x112 for email purposes.
You specify the length of the movie clip as 5, 10 or 15 seconds. These are the only lengths available and the sequence begins when you push the shutter release and ends automatically at the end of the time period.
