Thumbs - a Windows program to archive images on CD discs and create webpage galleries

What makes Thumbs unique is it solves the problem that most similar programs have where they make thumbnails but when the user clicks on a thumbnail the original image is displayed which is usually larger than the user's screen and almost un-viewable. Thumbs generates mid-size pages that scale to the size of the current window allowing a user to see the entire picture and all mid-size pages are linked so it's easy to peruse them all. Thumbs generates a folder based explorer like view as well as a "by date" view making it easy to see what images are new. Thumbs supports Quicktime and MPG movies that many cameras now create generating pages that make your movies viewable from a browser. Thumbs generates thumbnails and all the necessary HTML code for the purpose of making an autorun CD of images to send to a friend or relative and allow them to view the images without having any special software other than their web browser. It's also great for preparing your images for archiving/backing up as well as making thumbnails for displaying on web pages. 100% of the HTML Thumbs generates can be modified through templates and 7 templates of various styles are shipped with it. Thumbs also supports JPEG and EXIF imbedded comments as well as external comments and other EXIF fields.
