A typical record screen as viewed on either the EVF or the color LCD. Icons shown
for battery condition (both graphical and time left in minutes), lightning bolt
indicates the flash is in the forced on mode, image size and quality, number of
pictures remaining at current size/quality and a graphical icon of the Memory Stick
itself, the "hand" icon means that the SteadyShot stabilizer is on and the "+" in the
center of the frame tells you that the spot metering feature is enabled.

Here's the screen display when the auto focus is turned off. When you adjust the
focus manually using the ring on the end of the lens the display is enlarged to aid
in critical focusing and the distance is indicated numerically.

Pressing the PROGRAM button on the side allows you to cycle through the available
exposure modes by using the "-" and "+" buttons. Available modes are: automatic,
night, night+, landscape, portrait and shutter speed and aperture priority.

along with the recording time (5, 10 or 15 sec) and the green STBY means it is ready
to record, this turns red and says REC when it is recording.
