Typical record mode display with onscreen overlays for battery condition (both
graphical and in minutes remaining), image size (note that the image quality shown
here as "fine" is not available on the FD87, these screens were captured from the
FD92), number of pictures remaining and a graphical representation of the space left
on the Memory Stick. The onscreen menu has been enabled across the bottom, see below
for the menu options.

This is the screen display when set to Movie mode. Image size is 320x240 and we
have the recording time set to the maximum which is 15 seconds per clip. The green
STBY changes to a red REC after you press the shutter button.

EFFECT - Picture Effects: Solarize, B&W, Sepia, Negative art FILE - Format (Memory Stick or Floppy), File Number (Sequential numbering or Off), Clip motion (160x120 or 80x72 size), Image Size (1280x960, 1280 3:2, 1024x768 or 640x480), Record Mode (Normal, Email, Voice, Text, TIFF) CAMERA - Digital Zoom (On/Off), Sharpness (+/-2), White Balance (Auto, Indoor, Outdoor, Hold), Flash Level (High, Normal, Low), Exposure (+/-2EV) SETUP - Video Out (NTSC or PAL), Language (English/Japanese), Clock Set, Beep (On, Off, Shutter), LCD brightness adjustment

of space left on the Memory Stick. Across the bottom is the folder name and image
file number, the date and time of the exposure.

Using the telephoto lens control you can zoom-in to the image during playback in
multiple steps up to 5x. Once the image is magnified you can use the 4-way selector
to scroll around inside of the picture.

To quickly search through the stored images you can select the INDEX option from the
popup menu. In this mode the screen displays nine thumbnail size images and you
jump forward or backwards nine images at a time or select one to display full screen.
