Digital Features & Controls

Sony DSLR-A350

When using Live View mode, the A350 acts much like a consumer point-n-shoot. Displayed on the LCD are indicators for battery life (2 bars or 36%), image quality (FINE), image size (Large JPEG), number of remaining frames on current settings (244), Dynamic-Range optimizer (Standard), Exposure mode used (P - Program), flash is up and ready to fire, ISO (100), and along the bottom you can see the shutter speed (1/60) and aperture (F3.5) values as well as the exposure and SteadyShot meters.

When the shutter is half-pressed, you get the very familiar Green AF marks indicating which of the 9 AF points are being used. If focus fails, the green dot in the lower left will blink.
