Sony has announced a powerful new point and shoot digital camera, the Cyber-shot DSC-WX350. The camera boasts an 18.2-megapixel CMOS image sensor, the newer BIONZ X image processor, and a 20x optical zoom Sony G-series lens. With this sensor, processor, and glass, the WX350 is a speedy camera (10 fps Burst Shooting) capable of recording Full 1080p HD Videos even in lower lighting conditions (the ISO range is 100 to 12800).
The WX350 also features a large 3.0-inch LCD display, "4K" still image output (via Mirco HDMI), and iAuto/Superior Auto for letting the camera select the perfect settings for any shooting scenario. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization keeps your photos crisp and reduces shake in videos. Wi-Fi and NFC technologies allow the WX350 to connect to smartphones and tablets; from there it's easy to share your latest memories on your favorite social networking sites.
Finally, the WX350 has an impressive new battery, capable of taking (up to) 470 shots per charge.
