For 2012, Sony has released three new Cyber-Shot W-series cameras; the DSC-W650, DSC-W620, DSC-W610. These ultra-compact models built upon the popular features of past cameras, with various 2012 upgrades. The most appealing feature of these new cameras is the price; each are under $140 USD!

The most affordable of all three models, the Cyber-Shot DSC-W610 focuses on easy of use and size; it's also the smallest of the three models, and is offered in five stylish colors; Green, Blue, Pink, Black, and Silver. The W610 still incorporates some appealing features too, such as a 14-megapixel SUPER HAD CCD image sensor, a 4x Sony optical zoom lens, 2.7-inch LCD screen, Intelligent Auto exposure controls, 360 Sweep Panorama, and Steady Shot image stabilization.

The W610 will start shipping later this month (January 2012) with a suggested retail price of just $109.99 USD
