Along side their DSC-WX5 and DSC-TX9 announcements, Sony has released a new affordable T-series model, the Cyber-Shot DSC-T99. This unit replaces the DSC-TX1 from last year, and boasts some appealing features for a sub $250 ultra-compact digicam. These include a 14-megapixel CCD imager, internal Carl Zeiss 4x optical zoom lens, a large 3.0-inch Touchscrenn LCD, Sweep Panorama and much more. This unit is designed for the style savvy with five color choice options.
