Playback Modes & Menu Options

A typical playback screen as viewed on the color LCD. Icons shown
for battery condition (both graphical and time left in minutes),
image size and quality, picture number / total number of pictures. Across the bottom
is the folder name, image file number and time and date.

While viewing a picture fullscreen you can toggle the telephoto zoom control and
zoom-in to the image in multiple steps up to 5x. Once magnified you can scroll around
inside of the image using the 4-way selector.

Playback index mode is enabled by pressing the zoom control lever to the wideangle
position, nine thumbnail size images are displayed per page. You can quickly
search through the stored images and display one full screen.

Pressing the zoom wideangle button a second time toggles the information mode to
display detailed exposure information about each picture. The first page shows the
aperture, shutter speed and exposure compensation.

Pressing the down button brings up the second page of exposure information with the
ISO value, metering mode, flash and white balance settings.

PROTECT - Protect/unprotect image PRINT - embed DPOF printing information SLIDE - start slideshow, set interval time COPY - Copy images RESIZE - Resize image (2048x1536, 1600x1200, 1024x768, 640x480) ROTATE - Rotate portrait mode images DIVIDE - Divide MPEG moview clips

The 320x240HQ movies have a limitation of 15 seconds in duration but they playback
fullscreen on the LCD or TV.

The length of the 320x240 and 160x120 size MPEG movies are limited only by the amount
of space available on the Memory Stick. They playback inside of a smaller window and
are not fullscreen like the 320HQ movies.

MOVING IMAGE - Select the exposure mode for the Movie position of the mode dial, options are MPEG movie or ClipMotion DATE/TIME - Enable date or date and time stamping on the image DIGITAL ZOOM - Enable or disable digital zoom option RED EYE REDUCTION - Enable or disable redeye reduction flash mode AF ILLUMINATOR - Enable or disable the focus assist lamp SETUP 1
FILE NUMBER - Sequential numbering of images or reset with each new Memory Stick CONVERSION - On if using a conversion lens, otherwise Off LANGUAGE - Japanese or English CLOCK SET - Set the date and time in camera memory SETUP 2
LCD BACKLIGHT - Bright, Normal BEEP - Beep noise for Shutter, On for shutter and buttons or Off VIDEO OUT - Video output signal format, NTSC or PAL USB CONNECT - PTP or Normal |
