Sony P50

Record mode screen display when the shutter is half-pressed and the autofocus is locked (green dot.) Onscreen icons for battery condition (both graphical icon and numerical), flash mode (or output strength), image size and quality, space remaining on Memory Stick (grapical and numerical), self-timer, macro focus or manual focus preset distance, spot metering, white balance (other than auto), center focusing guide marks. When the focus is locked the shutter speed and aperture is displayed.

Still image record mode options:

    Exposure compensation - Override the metering +/-2EV in 1/3EV increments

    Focus - Auto or preset 0.5m, 1m, 3m, 7m infinity

    White Balance - Automatic, Indoor, Outdoor or Hold

    Spot Meter - Enable or disable spot metering option

    ISO - Auto or fixed at 100, 200 or 400

    Image Size - 2048x1536, 2048 (3:2), 1600x1200, 1280x960, 640x480

    Picture Quality - Fine or Standard

    Record Mode - Normal, Burst2, Email, Text, TIFF

    Flash Level - High, Normal or Low

    Picture Effect - None, Negative Art, Sepia, B&W, Solarize

    Sharpness - Default is 0 but may be +1, +2 or -1 or -2

Movie recording mode screen display. The P5 has 320x240HQ, 320x240 or 160x112 MPEG EX modes with sound. 320x240HQ is limited to 15 seconds but plays back in full screen mode, the MPEG EX modes can record video clips limited only by the capacity of your Memory Stick but play back in a smaller window.

    RED EYE REDUCTION - Enable or disable redeye flash mode

    AF ILLUMINATOR - Enable or disable the focus assist lamp

    FORMAT - Format the Memory Stick

    FILE NUMBER - Sequential file numbering or reset

    LANGUAGE - Menu language

    RED EYE REDUCTION - Enable or disable redeye flash mode

    CLOCK SET - Set the date and time

    LCD BRIGHTNESS - Bright, Normal, Dark

    LCD BACKLIGHT - Bright, Normal

    BEEP - Sounds: Off, On or Shutter

    VIDEO OUT - NTSC or PAL format

    USB CONNECT - Normal or PTP

    POWER SAVE - Enable or disable power saver
