Sony has announced the Cyber-shot DSC-H400, a high zoom point and shoot digital camera. While the H400 is (to some people) limited by its 20.1-megapixel CCD image sensor to 720p HD Video Recording, it does feature an astounding 63x optical zoom lens with optical steady shot to ensure still photos and videos are as clear or shake-free as possible.
The H400 also includes a large 3.0-inch LCD monitor, 8-person Face Detection, and iAuto (Intelligent Auto) mode, which allows the camera to automatically select one of its many pre-programmed Scene Modes to match currently lighting and shooting conditions. Perfect for a family on an outdoors vacation, not only can the H400 zoom to incredible distances, but 360 Sweep Panorama allows users to capture the tallest mountains or widest valleys from nearly any vantage point.
