Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H300 Preview

Sony has announced a new, affordable high zoom point and shoot camera, the Cyber-shot DSC-H300. Four AA batteries power the camera, which features a 20.1-megapixel CCD image sensor, a BIONZ image processor, and a long 35x optical zoom lens with built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization.

While the H300 is limited to 720p HD video recording, it can capture 0.8 fps Burst Shooting and take quick and easy 360 Sweep Panorama photographs. iAuto, or Intelligent Auto, is a helpful tool for any beginners happy to let the camera select the scene mode, ISO, shutter, and aperture settings. There are even a few Picture Effects thrown in to spice up any shot.
