Record Screens & Menus

Sony's intelligent auto shooting mode is a fully automatic shooting mode in which the camera handles everything, including choosing a scene mode for you. This allows anyone to pick the camera, point-n-shoot without worrying about what settings or modes to use in order to capture good images. You can see above, the camera even knows when it is sitting on a tripod when in this mode. The camera has 3 different display options, allowing you to choose the amount of information that you will see on the LCD screen.

Program mode is also a fully automatic shooting mode, but it gives the photographer control over a few of the camera settings leading up to capturing the image. This combined with the help guide built into the camera, is a great way for someone to increase their photography knowledge.

While there is not an aperture or shutter priority mode, there is full manual shooting, giving you complete control over the camera's exposure. Considering that there are no command dials on the body, using the 4-way controller to adjust you shutter speed and aperture settings is fairly easy.

Scene Modes: Soft Skin, Soft Snap, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night Scene, High Sensitivity, Gourmet, Pet, Beach, Snow and Fireworks.

Sweep Panorama is Sony's famous shooting mode that allows you to just pan the camera while it burst captures images and then stitches them together in the camera for you. It is able to complete a full 360 degree image, or there are also two shorter settings. Using the 4-way controller, you have the ability to choose which way the camera will pan: up, down, left or right.
