Sanyo Xacti VPC-C4 Review

When you select PLAY mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The overlay information is displayed briefly when a new image is selected.

Press the MENU button for 2 seconds to display this information.

You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback function which is actuated by pressing the WIDE zoom button. Nine thumbnail size images will be displayed and you can select one using the 4-way controller's buttons and then pressing the SET button.

The image can be magnified in many steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button. Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it. You can also save the cropped image as a new image file by pressing the shutter release.

Playback MENU options:

PLAYBACK METHOD - Play ALL (slideshow) or 1 clip

MULTI - Display 9 thumbnails per page

VOLUME - Adjust speaker volume

LCD BRIGHTNESS - Adjust LCD backlight intensity

PROTECT - Protect image or movie against deletion

ERASE - Single frame or All frames

ROTATE - Rotate portrait mode images 90° CW or CCW

EDIT VIDEO - Edit length, join 2 or more clips, extract still frame

DPOF - Set the Direct Print Order Format info

Playback of audio-only recordings.

Press the MENU button for 2 seconds to display the information.

Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the A-V or S-Video cable.

You can edit movies by joining two or more clips into a single movie, you can delete portions of movies or you can extract a single frame and save it as a still image.

POWER SAVE - Standby time for battery and external power
FILE NO.RESET - Continuous or reset (file numbering)
FORMAT - Format the SD Card
RESET - Resets all camera settings to default
