Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the Play/Review button brings up the last image captured or viewed in full screen mode with minimal data overlaid. Using the "left" and "right" positions on the 4-way controller will scroll through your stored images. To control the amount of overlay information, you simply press "up" or DISP on the 4-way controller to show Basic or Full info as well as to Hide all.

Here you can see the Edit menu that offers these options: Resize, Rotate, Photo Style Selector and Image adjust.

Pressing the wide angle zoom control
brings up the thumbnail index mode, here you can quickly
search through the stored images, and select one for full screen
playback. Pressing the Menu button allows you to filter
images/videos/voice files by Type, Date, Color, or Week.

While an image is displayed full screen
you can magnify it by pressing the telephoto zoom
control. Once magnified you can scroll around inside of it using the
4-way controller. You
can enlarge up to 11.4x in several steps, depending on the image size
mode being used. While magnified, a small box is
displayed in the upper left of the LCD, indicating the area of the
image that is enlarged in green/blue. Pressing the OK button will Trim
or Crop the area you have selected and save it as a new file.

Movie clips are played back full screen.
You have options to Start or Stop movie play as well as capture a still
frame from the video. The still frame will be saved at the same
resolution as the video (640x480 or 320x240).

Playback menu options:
Edit - Enter the edit menu options (shown above)
View - Single, 3, 9, 20
Multi Slide Show - Start a slide show
File Options - Delete, Protect, add a voice memo, set DPOF options or copy images from internal memory to the SD/SDHC card
Sound - Adjust Volume, start sound, shutter sound, beep sound, AF sound, and Self-Portrait sound
Display - Choose the menu language and other display options (start image, quick veiw, power save, etc.)
Settings - Choose format, reset, date&time, time zone, File no., imprint, auto power off, video out, AF lamp, and USB mode settings.
