Record Screens & Menus

Samsung's Auto mode allows anyone to use the NX500 without being intimidated by using a more sophisticated camera. It allows you to point and shoot, just like a compact digicam, taking care of all of the settings for you, but with far better image quality. The DISP. button on the back of the camera allows you to change the amount of shooting information that is shown on the screen. Both the MENU and Fn menus can be accessed either by the buttons on the camera or by touching the icons on the LCD screen.

Program is another automatic shooting mode that gives a little more control to the user. Some of the exposure settings are able to be adjusted, but the shutter and aperture remain under the control of the camera.

Manual shooting mode, along with aperture priority and shutter priority offer total control to the user. These modes allow all settings to be accessed and changed for total creative freedom with your images. The LCD screen will also reflect your changes so you know exactly how your adjustments effect your image.

The NX500 features a full package of scene shooting modes to assist you in tough shooting modes: Beauty Face, Landscape, Action Freeze, Rich Tones, Panorama, Waterfall, Multi-Exposure, Silhouette, Sunset, Night, Fireworks. Light Trace.

The 4-way controller on the back of the camera not only allows you to easily navigate through the camera's menus and settings, it also acts as a shortcut to the ISO, AF and continuous shooting settings. Pressing up while in a shooting mode allows you to change the amount of information that is shown on the screen.

The Fn menu gives you most of your popular shooting settings all in one place. These settings can be selected and changed with either the 4-way controller command dials on the camera body, or just by touching the setting you want to change with the touch LCD screen.
