Pressing the playback button on the back of the camera allows you to view all of the images that are saved on the camera's memory card. The DISP. button allows you to change the amount of information that is shown about your images.

On top of the camera, the command dial allows you to enter the camera into its index mode. Here you will see thumbnails of the images that are on the memory card. This allows you to quickly search through a large, full memory card quickly.

Turning the command dial the other way lets you zoom in on an image up to 4x. Once zoomed in, you can use the touch screen or 4-way controller to scroll around the image. This is a great way to check the focus and fine details of your images. You can also crop your images once you have zoomed in.

Playback Menu:
  • Delete - Select, All
  • Protect - Stop an image from deleted
  • Overexposure Guide - On or Off
  • Rotate - Change the orientation of the image
  • Play Interval Shots - Plays interval shots as a quick slideshow
  • Start Slide Show - Play a slideshow of the images on the SD card
  • Slide Show Options - Choose effects, music and transitions
  • Convert to JPG - Create JPG images from your RAW images
  • Image Edit - Choose from the many editing options available on the NX300 (shown below)
  • Auto Rotate - On or Off
  • Sort By - Oldest, Latest
  • View Continuous Shots - Fold, Unfold





On top of the camera is the MobileLink button. This allows for quick connection to a smartphone. Once connected; viewing, transferring and remote operation of the camera is possible.

The rotate menu gives you the option to change the orientation of your images in 90° at a time. It also lets you flip your images vertically and horizontally.

Video playback is possible on the camera's 3.0-inch LCD screen or on any HDTV with an optional HDMI cable. The camera offers simple playback controls and the ability to capture images from your videos.
