Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the playback button on the back of the camera takes you into playback mode. Once in playback mode, the Disp. button will change the amount of information that is shown on the LCD screen, including a full RGB histogram. Along with the 4-way controller, you can use your fingers in a swipe motion to scroll through your images. A pinch does not work, however, to zoom in and out.

Index mode allows you to see thumbnails of the images that are stored on the memory card. Again the 4-way controller can be used to make a selection or you can just touch the image that you want to see. Index mode can be accessed either by the checker box on the LCD or the command dial on top of the camera.

Using the command dial on top of the camera allows you to zoom in on an image.Once you have zoomed in you can use the 4-way controller or move your finger around the screen to scroll around the image. Once you have zoomed in, the Fn button allows you to crop your images to what you see on the screen.
