Pressing the Play button brings up the last image captured full screen
on the rear display. The
current folder and file number is in the upper right corner. Pressing the DISP button will change the amount of information that appears on the screen.
Scrolling through the images stored on the camera can be done using the left and right sides of the 4-way controller. To speed things up, you can press the Drive mode button which acts as the index button when in playback mode.
To zoom in on an image in playback mode, you press the "Green" button, then use the 4-way controller to move around the image. Pressing OK goes back to full screen mode, and Fn will trim (crop) the image.
There are several in-camera editing option available to you, from the basics like resize, rotate and trim, to more artistic edits like Face retouch, Backlight and Photo Style Selector

Here is an image of a movie in Playback mode, the OK button acts as the play button and the left and right sides of the 4way control allow you to go forward and backward through the video clip. Pressing the down arrow at any time during the playback will capture a still image from the video; which is saved at the same resolution that the video was captured in.
