Samsung Digimax U-CA 5 Review
Record Modes & Screens
AUTO record mode screen display. The green camera icon indicates Auto
mode, battery level is full, the zoom is at moderate wide angle, the flash is
forced off, there's space on our memory card for another 181 pictures at
2592x1944 SuperFine quality, the white bracket in the center is the auto
focus area, lower left is icon for Auto Macro mode.
When the shutter release is half-pressed the auto focus is activated, if successful, the
center AF area marks turn green.
Record menu options:
SIZE - 2592x1944, 2272x1704, 2048x1536, 1600x1200, 1024x768 or 640x480 QUALITY - Super Fine, Fine, Normal SETUP - Enter Setup menu (see below) MYCAM - Enter MyCamera setup menu (see below)
The Manual record mode is much like Auto, but adds settings for
metering, drive mode, sharpness, color mode, and special effects.
In Auto or Manual mode, press the "+/-" button to display this overlay menu to change the
white balance, ISO speed or exposure compensation.
When you choose the Scene option in the record menu, this screen will appear.
You then use the 4-way controller to choose the desired mode.
Movie mode options:
QUALITY - High 30fps or Low 15fps METERING - Multi or Spot EFFECT - Normal, B&W, Sepia, Negative STABILIZER - On/Off SETUP - Enter Setup menu (see below)
The U-CA 5 can also Record Audio like a voice recorder. Up to one hour of
voice or sound audio only can be recorded and played back in the camera.

PWR OFF - Auto power off options LANGUAGE - Menu language (English, Korean, T. Chinese, S.
