The Digimax 350 is an automatic "point-n-shoot" type camera, exposure is handled by a

icons indicate battery condition, shooting mode (single or continuous), zoom lens
setting, number of pictures remaining at current size and quality, image size, image
quality, sharpness, flash mode, focus mode, metering, selftimer, time and date.

Night Scene mode has two settings, Portrait or Landscape. Night Scene mode is used
when shooting pictures at night or against a dark background. Use of a tripod is
highly recommended due to lower shutter speeds.

Macro mode allows you photograph closeup subjects. The focus range is from 0.2m to
0.8m. It is always best to use the LCD to frame your shots in macro mode as the
optical viewfinder will not "see" what the lens sees at this extreme closeup range.

In Movie mode you can record motion JPEG at 320 x 240 resolution at 15fps. Monaural
audio is also recorded. The length of the movie clip is limited only by available
memory on the CF card.
