The RR1's powerful features will satisfy the most discerning photographer and the automatic exposure control makes the camera remarkably easy to use. Unique features includes text mode, which records printed material or a whiteboard in a black-and-white image that can be made even more readable by adjusting density. In-camera cropping trims images directly on the LCD so initial composition is less critical. The camera has dual shutter releases positioned for vertical or horizontal pictures. Portrait mode images are automatically rotated during playback.
![]() The slim Caplio RR1 is only 1 inch thick with a sleek metallic body design that fits comfortably in a shirt pocket and weighs just 9.5 ounces. Power is supplied by a lithium rechargeable battery that is included with the camera, as is the AC power rapid charger which is also included.
