Playback Screens & Menus

In Playback mode, the DISP. button allows you to change the amount of info that is displayed about the current image. You can choose between nothing, basic info and a two-screen full list of the shooting info with both overall and individual color histograms.

Pressing the lever on the back down enters the camera into index mode. Here you can look at groups of thumbnails to quickly search through your images. There is also a calendar mode that allows you to sort your images by the date they were taken.

Pressing that same lever up as well as using the selection dial on the front allows you to zoom in up to 16x on your current image. The 4-way controller allows you to scroll around within your image once you have zoomed in.

Playback Menu:
  • Slide Show - Starts a slide show of all images on the memory card
  • Protect - Allows you to protect images so they can not be deleted
  • DPOF - Sets print settings for the images
  • Resize - Resize the current image on the camera

  • Level Compensation - Level an image automatically or manually
  • White Balance Compensation - Adjusts the white balance (color temperature) of an image

Your captured videos can also be played back on the camera. The ADJ. button starts and stops the video. With the included A/V cable, you can watch on any TV. Although the camera doesn't capture HD video, the HDMI output allows you to connect and view your images and movies on an HDTV.
