Playback Screens & Menus
When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can move backward
or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The amount of overlay
information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP button. Information across the
top is SD for SD card memory, the exposure mode, 5/10 which means image 5 of 10 total,
Fine image quality, 2592 (5M) image size. On the bottom is battery condition, aperture
and shutter speed.
Pressing the DISPlay button displays the histogram.
If you press the DISP button again all of the overlay information is removed. This is
good for when you are showing the pictures on the TV and don't want the info displayed.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback function
which is actuated by pressing the Wide zoom control button. Six thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT or RIGHT buttons
and then pressing the Telephoto zoom button.
The image can be magnified up to 3.4x in four steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around inside of it using the 4-way
selector buttons.
Movie clips can be played in the camera with audio thanks to the built-in speaker.

The Play menu with options for a Slide Show, Protect/Unprotect images, set DPOF
printing information, Resize and copy from internal memory to SD card.
Large images can be resized down smaller when needed.
You can playback your voice recordings.
The Setup sub-menu lets you format the SD card or INternal memory, adjust LCD brightness, program the ADJ button to change resolution, focus mode, sharpness or metering mode or leave it as the default function. Turn beep sounds on/off, set the auto review time, auto power off time, turn sequential file numbering on, enable power save, set date, set the menu language, specify the video out format (NTSC or PAL) and enable the step zoom function. |
