Record Screens & Menus
The AUTO shooting mode is the simple, point-n-shoot user mode. Icons for Auto flash, SD means there is an optional SecureDigital memory card in the camera. There is space remaining for 306 pictures. Image size is 1600 x 1200 Fine quality.
After half-pressing the shutter release the auto focus is locked (green cross hairs in the
center) and the aperture and shutter speed is displayed on the bottom.
In AUTO mode the only menu options are for setting the image size and quality.
MANUAL mode, the camera selects both shutter speed and aperture
automatically like AUTO mode but the user has more menu options - see next
frame. Shown here we have enabled macro focus, 2-second selftimer,
fluorescent white balance, exposure compensation of +0.3 and locked the
ISO at 100.
Manual mode options:
Quality - Fine or Normal Exposure Compensation - Override metering +/- 2.0EV in 0.5EV steps White Balance - Auto, B&W, Daylight, Cloudy, Fluorescent or Tungsten ISO Speed - Auto or fixed at 100, 200, 400 equivalents Slow Shutter - Off, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 seconds
Movie mode records 320 x 240 motion video at 15fps without audio. Movie clips are saved as Windows AVI format video files. The digital zoom cannot be used during movie recording. The length of these movies is limited only by the amount of available memory, with the 16MB internal memory you can record about 45 seconds. |
