Record Screens & Menus
The PDC 2150 is a simple and easy to use point-n-shoot type camera. Here's the record mode screen with icons for Auto flash, Image size is "L"arge which is 1600 x 1200, "F"ine quality, space remaining for 116 pictures, the icon in the upper right tells you that there is an optional SD or MMC memory card in the camera. The lower left is the battery condition icon.
After half-pressing the shutter release the auto focus is locked (green cross hairs in the
center) and the aperture and shutter speed is displayed on the bottom.
When you half-press the shutter release all the icons turn green to tell you that the
camera is ready to capture. There is no auto focus delay when you half-press nor is there
a delay when you just push the button all the way. This is a focus-free camera.
Macro focus mode covers from 8 inches to 12 inches, the color LCD is turned on
automatically to make framing the picture more accurate.
The PDC 2150 does not have an optical zoom but it does have a 2X digital zoom. Any
photos captured with digital zoom are saved as 800 x 600 size images only.
