When you press the Play button, the last image captured is displayed fullscreen. It shows the date/time the image was taken, folder name/file number and the music note indicates that a sound memo was attached to this image. Pressing the center of the 4-way controller will record and play the audio memo.

Pressing the Display/OK button controls the amount of overlay information displayed as well as turns the LCD on and off. Shown here is the extended exposure information with the histogram.

You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback function which is activated by pressing the wide angle zoom control. Nine thumbnail size images will be displayed and you can select one using the 4-way controller and then pressing the Ok button.

You can magnify an image up to 12x in 0.1-0.2x steps by pressing the telephoto zoom control. Using the 4-way controller you can move around inside the enlarged image.

Playback menu options:

Slide show - Set image play intervals (3,5,10,15,20,25 and 30 sec.)
Resize - Create an image with Lower Resolution and or Quality Level
Trimming - Crop image to different size
Copy Image & Sound - From internal memory to SD or MMC card
Digital Filter - Create a unique look to images (shown below)
Movie Edit - Gives access these options: Save as still image, Divide, and Stitch movies
Quick Zoom - On or Off
Quick Delete - On or Off
Alarm - Set Time and Image to show when alarm goes off

Pressing the 4-way selector down allows you to rotate an image for proper display on the LCD or a television set.

The Digital Filter mode allows you to give a creative look to your images and includes: Black & White, Sepia, Red, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Brightness (Gamma.)

You can attach an audio memo up to 30 seconds to any image stored on the internal memory or SD card.

Movies are played back fullscreen with the audio played back on the built- in speaker. You can play a movie frame by frame, pause, fast forward or rewind with the 4-Way Selector. You can also adjust the volume using the Zoom Controls.

When traveling to other countries you can choose to have their local time displayed while taking pictures or during playback (Display time in 62 cities & 28 time zones).

Auto Power Off - Off, 3min. or 5min.
Reset - Reset to Default
